Observations on the Setting:

Protecting a nation’s food chain could be considered a matter of national defense, with carefully standardized practices, approved products and means of clear and accurate on-site methods of validation. Furthermore, the chemistries employed must not – under any circumstances, be allowed to taint or contaminate the food items being processed or prepared.

Recommendations on Cleaning Protocols:

Our recommendations for food area cleaning are simple:

  • Clean all surfaces after hours with a bio-enzymatic cleaning solution so as to break down the amino acids that connect organic materials to one another; and
  • Rinse all surfaces with clean water, treated with 50-100ppm of Chlorine Dioxide, depending on available dwell-time. Chlorine Dioxide leave no residue and does not require rinsing.

We recommend that you review and consider these products from our lines:

  • Synergy BioClean Plus, applied with a foam-generating system. This product will prove very effective on all surfaces for cleaning, and will treat the floor drains when rinsed.
